Raffle Prizes: The raffle is always one of our main fundraisers and we already have a lot of amazing prizes. But, if you would like to contribute a raffle prize or know of someone who is willing to, please contact the PTA email@example.com
We are very excited that on Saturday 9th July we will be able to welcome Sheringdale families and the local community to join us at our first in-person fair since December 2019.
The success of our fairs is due to your donations of prizes, time and attending. Below is how you can help to make the fair the amazing event it always is:
Independent Stalls – do you have a local business and would like to have a stall at the fair? If so, please get in contact with us firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Tombola – always one of the most popular stalls and we run one for adults and one for children.
- For the adult Tombola, please could we have contributions of alcohol, chocolates, biscuits, toiletries etc.
- For the Children’s Tombola, we would like new toys, games, books and sweets etc. Have a hunt around the house and see what you can find!
Children’s Nearly New Stall – please contribute any good quality children’s clothes and footwear which are in good condition – anything goes including fancy dress.
Homemade Stall – one of the most profitable stalls at the fair; we need homemade cakes, biscuits, confectionery, jams, chutneys etc. These will need to be dropped off either on the day of the fair or on Friday, 8th July.
Lucky Dip – always a popular stall which usually sells out very quickly. We need gifts for children, wrapped and clearly labelled:
- Infant Girls (Nursery – Year 2)
- Infant Boys (Nursery – Year 2)
- Junior Girls (Year 3-6)
- Junior Boys (Year 3-6)
To make this all happen on the day, we will need parents’ help working on the various stalls. A rota will be sent out via the class reps in the next week or so.
Contributions for the Tombolas, Lucky Dip & Nearly New stall can be left in the labelled baskets in the school office from Wednesday 15th June.
We will be having another second-hand clothes collection on Wednesday 13th July. Details to follow but please start storing up your donations!
We will be holding an end of year drinks party on Thursday 14th July. Come and meet the PTA, find out about what we do and get involved.

Investment in VR Headsets
Virtual Reality Headsets have arrived at Sheringdale!
The PTA has provided £6,649 funding towards virtual reality headsets for the entire school to use.
Year 5 were lucky enough to be the first year group to test them out on 01 December. Every class will get a chance to use them at least once in the first half of the spring term.
